HOW TO RECOGNIZE A SHORTAGE OF VITAMIN B3

Vitamin B3 is also called niacin. This substance is important for the energy supply of the body and also for the production of fatty acids. Your body can make vitamin B3 itself from the substance tryptophan (1).

1. SKIN DISCOLORATIONS

Niacin helps to protect the skin from the sun's harmful rays. In addition, it is claimed that vitamin B3 can even help prevent certain types of skin cancer (3).
