Nursery Plankton Algae

We cultivate the World’s best quality microalgae on Dutch soil. At 80 metres below the nursery, the Miraculous Marine Phytoplankton Nanochloropsis Gaditana algae are provided with ancient waters dating back to the Ice Age of 130 000 years ago. Where it was once stored away, it’s now for us to use!

It’s guaranteed pure water and the best of the best for the microalgae. Our daily mission is to develop fair, sustainable, affordable and exceedingly healthy functional products.

During the entire year, the Marine Phytoplankton is in the indoors nursery, being grown in big basins, safely covered by glass. To produce microalgae, we only use the elements nature gave us. These Miraculous plants can grow from just the right nutrients and daylight.

This makes it a sustainable product and ensures that the microalgae can grow as natural as possible. The pure Pleistocene Primordial Water, the ingenious organic process, the inspiring environment and the entire Plankton Holland team makes the absolute difference.

There is only one Oostvaardersplassen in the Netherlands. In fact, in Europe, there is no area that is similar to the Oostvaardersplassen. Deep in southern Flevoland - next to the nursery - nature created a large marsh area with reed plains, rugged grasslands, and ponds. Meet the Netherlands thousands of years ago.

The Oostvaardersplassen, next to the nursery, constitutes the largest wetland in the Netherlands. Nature has free reign here. Countless birds have taken over the area. Especially in the winter, it is a spectacular sight. The hundreds of Heck cattle, Konik horses and red deer give the area an almost un-Dutch appearance.
